Auto R1

Operator-friendly remote views for d&b R1, generated in seconds.

Build your R1 project the normal way — patch the amps, make the source groups, let R1 build the group tree — then drop the .dbpr on this. It reads the structure and writes a set of extra remote views designed to be read at a glance from front of house. Your original file is never touched; a new one is written alongside it.

  • Runs entirely in the browser — nothing is uploaded
  • Byte-identical output to the desktop version, checked row by row
  • One clean FOH view per zone: level, mute, a couple of EQ handles
  • Drop a file, check the previews, download the result

TheatreMix Sound Design Assistant

From a script PDF to a mic plan, a DCA layout and a TheatreMix show file.

Feed it the show's script — clean digital text or a scan — and it works out who's on mic when, allocates DCAs across the show, and hands back three things: a marked-up operator script with DCA numbers in the margin, a colour-coded cue-by-DCA spreadsheet, and a .tmix file that opens straight in TheatreMix. Built and checked against two full productions so far.

How this works

Made on gigs,
not in a lab

Every tool here started as something I needed at front of house and couldn't buy. They get used on my own shows first. If one's marked beta, it works — it just hasn't been through enough rooms yet for me to call it done.
